A very good friend of mine says that age is primarily the way you look and does not correspond to how you think. My mum at 85 had dementia and I asked her how old she thought she was and she said “ oh, about 35?”
Most people think they are around 35

Many Happy Returns. I hit 55 this year and wondered where on earth the last 30 years have gone! Only benefit was getting a partial pension out which softened the blow somewhat!

Happy Birthday Troy and to the others who are also ‘Celebrating’ today.
I still have another 3 years until the big 50 but can’t say I’m looking forward to it.
Mind you I had the same trepidation when approaching 30 and 40 as well and quickly got over it. It’s the build up to it and other people (Friends & Family) constantly mentioning it that makes it worse.
Hearing about so many long time posters on here sadly passing away puts things into perspective though and we should celebrate reaching these milestones rather than fearing them.
